Booking & Payments

If your chosen date or time isn’t showing, or you have any trouble booking, just contact us — we’re happy to open a transfer for you or assist with the booking process.

Yes, you can easily book online. If you prefer, you’re welcome to email us and we’ll respond as quickly as possible.
If you choose to call and we’re unable to answer, please send us an email as this is usually the fastest way to reach us.

There’s no need to pay when you make your booking. Simply select the “zero deposit” option. If you provide your credit card details, we won’t charge anything until closer to your travel date.
You can also choose to pay in cash on the day — just select that option when booking.

We accept credit cards, cash, and bank transfers, so you can choose whichever method is most convenient for you.

Absolutely. You’re welcome to make changes at any time, and there’s no fee for doing so.

We offer a no-hassle refund policy. If your plans change due to genuine reasons — such as altered travel dates, emergencies, or unexpected events — we’ll refund your booking quickly and easily.

No deposit is required when you book. Payment is only arranged closer to your travel date, making it easy to plan your trip without any upfront costs.
Timings & Scheduling

Our transfer times are designed to suit your schedule. If your preferred date or time isn’t listed, simply contact us — we can usually open a new transfer for you.
Scheduled services you see online are ones where other guests are already booked. Popular departure times are early morning and mid-afternoon.

The transfer from Devonport to Cradle Mountain takes approximately 80 minutes.

The journey from Launceston takes around 2 hours.

The transfer from Hobart takes about 4 hours.

Yes. Same-day return services are available and can be arranged to fit your plans.

We recommend booking as soon as possible, especially during peak hiking and holiday seasons, to secure your preferred time.

Yes. Many guests connect with public transport to complete their journey. From Hobart, for example, you can take the Kinetic coach to Launceston, where we’ll meet you for the transfer to Cradle Mountain.
The Kinetic coach also connects with Devonport, making it an excellent option for flexible travel to and from the park.
Pick-Up & Drop-Off

We offer pick-up from hotels and accommodation in the central areas of Launceston, Hobart, and Devonport, as well as key transport hubs such as airports and the Spirit of Tasmania terminal.

Yes. We can collect you directly from your accommodation, airport, or the Spirit of Tasmania terminal — just provide the details when booking so we can arrange the most convenient pick-up point for you.

Yes. We drop off at all major hotels, lodges, and accommodation in the Cradle Mountain area.
Please note that vehicles cannot enter the national park itself, so we are unable to drop passengers at Waldheim Hut. From the Cradle Mountain Visitor Centre, you can catch the park shuttle bus, which operates regularly and takes you directly into the park.

Yes. We provide a door-to-door service wherever possible for a smooth and stress-free travel experience.
Luggage and Equipment

Each passenger is welcome to bring one large suitcase or similar-sized bag, plus one carry- on item.

Yes. We regularly transport hiking packs, camping gear, and other outdoor equipment — perfect for those heading out on the Overland Track or other walking adventures.

Generally, there’s no extra charge unless the vehicle is very full. If you’re travelling with additional luggage or oversized items, please let us know in advance so we can plan accordingly.

Yes. We offer free luggage storage while you’re hiking the Overland Track or staying overnight at Cradle Mountain. This service is complimentary for all transfer customers.
Overland Track & Hiking

Yes. We offer reliable transfers directly to the Cradle Mountain Visitor Centre, the starting point for the Overland Track. From there, the park shuttle will take you to the trailhead.

Yes. We provide return transfers from Lake St Clair Visitor Centre, making it easy to finish your hike and travel back without any stress.

Yes. We stock gas canisters and other basic hiking essentials, and these are provided free of charge for guests hiking the Overland Track.

Weather, Delays & Safety

We operate year-round and are well-prepared for Tasmania’s changing conditions.
Our modern fleet is equipped for all weather, including snow, so we can almost always complete your transfer safely and on schedule.

Yes. Transfers will still operate even if the national park is temporarily closed.
We’ll keep you updated and work with you to adjust plans if needed.

For shared transfers, we’re unable to delay departure as other passengers may be on board.
If your flight or ferry schedule is uncertain, we recommend booking a private transfer, which can be adjusted to match your revised arrival time.

Yes, but coverage can be patchy and unreliable in some areas due to the remote location. We recommend downloading any maps or important information before you arrive.

No, pets are not permitted on our vehicles, with the exception of registered service animals, which are always welcome.
